the data privacy api helps you comply with end user data deletion requests mandated by global privacy laws such as gdpr and ccpa the api lets you programmatically submit requests to delete email addresses that may exist in your mailfloss account for authentication, rate limits, response headers, and response codes, please refer to these sections in the email verification api the data privacy api is in beta the api is currently in beta and under active development while we'll make every effort to maintain consistency, updates may contain breaking changes data erasure is permanent the delete endpoint results in permanent deletion of data from our servers and cannot be undone deletions do not prevent future insertions using this api doesn't prevent the deleted email addresses from re entering mailfloss in the future the responsibility to ensure they do not is yours
